Using the alink contributed module
The Drupal contributed module called alink allows you to easily created links to other pages or sites just by typing a special code like a WordPress shortcode or Drupal token.
Here I am using _ WoW _ to provide a link to the Bobbing Wide website information about Wonder of WordPress websites
_WoW_
Note: It's cases sensitive so these don't work _wow_, _WOW_, _Wow_
Well that was singularly unsuccessful.
